| This demonstration model depicts an Endoscopy department interested in analyzing it's scope inventory levels. In the model window you can adjust the quantity of scopes and cleaning machines. The objective is to minimize the number of scopes and balance the number of cleaning machines to support a certain patient volume. Endoscopy scopes are very expensive, so reducing inventory costs can have a great effect on a department's budget. The user can also click on patients, staff and procedure rooms to see real-time statistics on utilization, process step and arrival time. |
